Wrapping up the State of the City Address Parramatta
The recent State of the City Address Parramatta was a remarkable event, bringing together community leaders, business owners, and stakeholders to celebrate our city’s progress and envision its future. This year’s theme, “Parramatta: Around the Clock - Unlocking Parramatta’s Potential as the place to be night and day,” highlighted the city’s dynamic nature and its potential to thrive 24/7.
“Parramatta: Around the Clock” is a testament to our city’s vibrant and diverse character. It emphasises the importance of creating a city that is lively and engaging at all hours, offering a rich array of activities, services, and opportunities for residents and visitors alike. By focusing on both day and night economies, we aim to foster a more inclusive, safe, and prosperous community. This theme underscores our commitment to enhancing nightlife, improving public safety, and supporting businesses that operate beyond traditional hours.
We were privileged to have the Hon. Chris Minns MP, Premier of NSW, as our keynote speaker. His vision for New South Wales and his insights into how state initiatives can support Parramatta’s growth were truly inspiring.
